These glass flasks in leather pouch are made from soda lime glass (soda-lime glass is the most common form of glass produced. It is composed of about 70 percent silica (silicon dioxide), 15 percent soda (sodium oxide), and 9 percent lime (calcium oxide), with much smaller amounts of various other compounds.) The glass thickness varies (it's thicker at the bottom for stability) but is thick enough to withstand normal use for many years. The screw-on lid/cap is made of food-grade stainless steel with an added silicon gasket to prevent against accidental leaks. The pouch is made from top-quality split cow leather and not only adds a layer of protection but is stylish and looks great while doing it.
